Ever woken up beside a stranger? What if it was planned that way? shameless hussy presents the acclaimed one-woman, 16 character, theatrical tour de force DISSOLVE written by Meghan Gardiner and directed by Renée Iaci.

At turns hilarious and heartbreaking, DISSOLVE confronts the topic of drink spiking and drug facilitated sexual assault. Responding to interest from schools and educators, this play has been touring to colleges, universities and high schools throughout North America. DISSOLVE stars Zakiah Dumansky.

The play follows a young girl on a night out and the people she encounters, with the actress morphing fluidly between a flurry of 16 characters, both comedic and compelling.

Designed to provoke thought and dialogue about sexual consent, DISSOLVE challenges us to change our beliefs and behaviour surrounding alcohol, drugs and sexual assault. DISSOLVE proposes to transform potential bystanders into ‘upstanders.’

Available for touring Fall/Spring 2025/26
