Written by Meghan Gardiner this play is now on its 10th tour for shameless hussy going to schools and communities in the US and Canada, and this is the first time we've been able to offer a free - by donation - public show in our hometown of Vancouver since 2015. Yes, we accept bath bombs from Lush as currency. Also we're super excited to welcome actor Lucy McNulty to this powerhouse of a piece that has been getting people #woke and been saying #metoo since a hashtag was called a pound sign.
In short DISSOLVE 1 woman, 16 characters and 60 minutes that could save a life. "We wish there was no need to keep touring this show" said no shameless hussy ever - until now.

Ever woken up beside a stranger? What if it was planned that way? shameless hussy productions presents the critically acclaimed one-woman show DISSOLVE which confronts the topic of drink spiking and drug facilitated sexual assault. Responding to interest from schools and educators, DISSOLVE has toured to colleges, universities and high schools throughout North America for almost two decades. Directed by Renee Iaci and now starring Lucy McNulty."Any girl’s anger translates into energy and spot-on satire… the characters funny and recognizable… a rewarding show." ~ Vancouver Sun
DISSOLVE follows a college girl on a night out, moving back and forth from bedroom to bar scenes, morphing between a flurry of 16 characters, both comedic and compelling. Designed to provoke thought and dialogue about sexual consent, DISSOLVE challenges us to change our thinking and behavior surrounding alcohol, drugs and sexual assault.“We whole heartedly support the use of this piece as a means to discuss the concept of rape culture and taking action to end sexualized violence.“ ~ Ariana Barer, Education Outreach WAVA Rape Crisis Centre, Van. BC
With a mandate of "telling provocative stories about women to inspire the hand that rocks the cradle to rock the world" Vancouver’s shameless hussy productions puts HERSTORY to the forefront.
